
BSB’s 2024 Year in Review
2024 was a milestone year for BSB, brimming with exciting achievements and growth!
We began the year by celebrating 40 years in business, a testament to our commitment to innovation and exceptional customer service. Building on the success of Techtober 2023 and our road trip, we launched the Tips and Tricks monthly webinar series. Its popularity led to the introduction of another series later in the year, Features in Focus.
Adding to our success, we expanded our education portfolio by partnering with four new school districts.
BSB maintained its Platinum Status with Mitel for another year, solidifying our position as the third-largest Mitel dealer in the United States. We were also proud to be one of just 17 Mitel partners awarded five exclusive badges for excellence in the public sector, healthcare, hospitality, finance, and contact centers. Additionally, we received the prestigious Mitel Technical Excellence Award, underscoring our leadership in the field. Notably, our solutions engineer, Brent Ouderkirk, serves on Mitel’s Technical Support Advisory Council.
This year, we expanded our focus on cybersecurity with Dez Mathiasz’s expertise, enhancing the support we provide to our clients. Our strong partnership with Intermedia also reached new heights with the formation of two advisory boards consisting of just nine select partners. Out of over 7,500 partnerships, Chris Athanson was invited to join their Technical Support Council, and I was honored to be part of their Sales and Marketing Advisory Council.
Community involvement remained a cornerstone of our mission. We proudly sponsored and participated in events such as MSBO, MCUL, and MCUL Contact Center, while also continuing our support for the Gaylord and Petoskey Chambers of Commerce. Our President, Peter Johnson, delivered an exceptional presentation at the Contact Center event.
This year, Mitel formed a partnership with Zoom to introduce new collaboration tools and launched the Mitel CX AI Powered Contact Center, which includes advanced omnichannel solutions such as chat,, SMS, and voice enhancements. Additionally, BSB became an approved reseller for Zoom, expanding our product offerings. To conclude the year on a high note, we achieved Platinum Partner status with Intermedia, a prestigious recognition of our strong partnership and performance.
